You'll Need:

  1. 2 tbsp olive oil 
  2. 2.5 lb/1.25 kg hamburger hurl ,brisket or some other moderate cooking meat (no bone)

  1. 3 garlic cloves , minced 
  2. 2 onions , slashed (dark colored, white or yellow) 
  3. 6 oz/180g bacon , bit or pancetta, diced 
  4. 3 tbsp plain flour (universally handy flour, Note 3 for GF) 
  5. 1 x 440ml/14.9oz can Guinness Lager (Note 1) 
  6. 4 tbsp tomato glue 
  7. 3 glasses/750 ml chicken stock/soup (or meat juices - Note 4) 
  8. 3 carrots , stripped and cut into 1.25 cm/1/2" thick pieces 
  9. 2 huge celery stalks , cut into 2cm/1" pieces 
  10. 2 inlet leaves 
  11. 3 sprigs thyme

How to Make:

  1. Cut the meat into 5cm/2" pieces. Pat dry at that point sprinkle with salt and pepper. 
  2. Warmth oil in a substantial based pot over high warmth. Include meat in bunches and dark colored well everywhere. Evacuate onto plate. Rehash with outstanding hamburger.
